Oxford Natural History Museum-March 1, 2014
We met up with a man and his family who works with Mike. He also worked at Brillion before they came here in late 2013. They live in Oxford so they knew their way around. They took us on a city bus. The kids thought it was neat how the bus raises and lowers on the side to drop off and pick up passengers.
We walked around Oxford a little as well. One of the sidewalks on our route went right through an old cemetary. Really nice weather for our trip. Neat trees...really old.
The museum itself houses one of the best collections of dinosaur bones in the world. The first fossil ever identified to be a dinosaur bone is at this museum. The museum is a part of the University of Oxford. There are other museums in Oxford as well. That's for another day.
