Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, England.

This palace is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.  It is about 15 minutes from our home.  Beautiful countryside and little villages along the way, but the road was too narrow and windy to pull over and take pictures.  Plenty of sheep in the fields.  Some had just been sheered,  Alex commented that the sheep were "carved."  Yum....

Anyway here are some photos from this morning.  The first set is from outside the palace gates.  (While standing by the gates Owen pushed a button and the guard actually answered over the speaker.  Oops!)

Eli looking at rabbits at the pet store.

Alex found the perfect twig to make a slingshot.
He's been slinging stuff all over.  Owen looking after his "pet" snails.

Eli found a friend at Ikea.

Photo taken from our front door.

A little nature journaling from the sunroom.  Their playhouse is in the background.  It's pretty dirty so they've been cleaning it.

Just for fun...
